Okay, I thought this was due an update.
I don't often cook these days due to living with my parents so my mum cooks for all of us. I'm living with them until BF and I have enough money to get married and start living together.
I'm still "Snowy Owl" to a pack of 24 Brownies (the 7-10 year olds) and am still a bigger kid at heart than they are.
On the subject of BF and family and stuff, I'm slowly collecting a family made up of BF, his god-son and his two Romanian sons who decided a few years ago that they wanted him as Dad. It's odd when you're closer in age to your "step-son" than you are to your partner though!
I like to think that I don't eat chocolate or many cakes any more but, in reality, I do.
Foodwise, I often prefer the simple life. An ex-BF once told me he'd cook anything I wanted. After a bit of thought, I decided that what I'd really like was spaghetti hoops (spaghetti Os??) on toast. Many of my favourites are based around bread or toast and butter (toast and jam, ham sandwich,...)
I love salmon but always fail to cook it quite like I've eaten it on Scout camp in Sweden :o(
Any recipe containing ginger, honey, lemon, cinnamon, apple, raisins/sultanas or nutmeg is likely to get my attention.
On looking through my "inedible" cookbook, it should also be noted that I seem to believe that honey can cure anything! :o)
