about me

I am mother of many, most of whom I school at home. I love to cook, read and learn about things, would like to take up weaving again, and love the challenge of creating something out of nothing.

I also have a love of nutrition, having studied a lot over the years and having grown up working in a health food store.

I have written two books--one about childbirth and one humorous book about things I have learned from my kids.

I love music--composing, listening, singing, playing etc.

Favorite Foods:

I like a variety of foods. Trying dishes from various countries around the world is fun. I love smoothies, a good lasagna, salads, hearty breads, etc. But, please don't serve me canned or frozen peas!
