I was born In Hamburg Germany, brought up with both German and Pakistani dishes. My father has worked as a chef in many German restaurants. In 1996 we moved to America; I was 7 years old. I spent the next 11 years of my life learning an entire new aspect of food. With a strong passion for making and serving food for my family of 9 I started cooking and baking at age 12. Preparing dishes from many different cultures, countries and cookbooks. With great recipe websites like RecipeZaar I am able to reach a whole new level of experimentation. We eat my cooking daily and it has become both my passion and pleasure to cook. I learn more everyday, this road remains exciting and adventurous. I have many dreams, one of which is to open a multi cultural restaurant/cafe. May God permit me and give me success.
Vegetable soup, Fruit chaat, grilled fish, Chinese rice, steak vegetabe rice and mushroom sauce (prepared by my father), Dona Kabab, home made Pizza, Spaghetti, Pulao, Kari, Bellpepper kidney bean and meatball in rich gravy (A mexican recipe my mom makes).
favorite desserts:
Apple torten, Peach pastries and cakes, Ice cream cake (A specific one my sister makes), Oatmeal raisin cookies, Ginger cookies, cinnamon rolls, and carrot milk rice that my mom makes.
My favorite fruits are Mangos and Peaches. My favorite vegetable is the potato. I think its because of the endless possibilities there are when it comes to cooking potatoes.
