about me

I am from Houson, TX. I'm a mother of 2 and a full time neonatology fellow. I love cooking for my family. Nothing beats hearing them say, "WOW! This is delisious!". I'm not much of a baker, I can never get homemade muffins or cakes just right, but the box stuff never fails me! I love making dinners and appetizers, entertaining with food is one of my favorite things to do. The only other recipe resource I really use is my collection of William Sonoma cookbooks (and even those are collecting dust since I found Recipe Zaar!!). Thanks to all the Recipe Zaar members who have shared their recipes and have helped us make some very memorable evenings around the dinner table!

Favorite Foods:

Love making anything in the crock pot!! I also like pasta, especially b/c it leftovers are so much better than the original dish! I'm famous for my Chichen Tortilla Soup (Melissa's Chicken Tortilla Soup ). I love the the Red Onion here in Houston.
