I guess I should start off with how much I love to cook. I have been cooking ever sense I was a little girl. It all started off with a simple recipe for an apple cake that I found in one of my mothers "military wifes" cook books. From that point on I was cooking for my family everyday, and eventually started cooking as a personal chef for some family friends as extra money while going to school full time for my business degree. After my degree was complete I decided to expand my business and make it something to live off of.
During this process I started catering parties as well as personal cheffing, met my husband of now 2 years, and moved from my childhood home of 15 years to Edwards California in the middle of the Mojave dessert. My life had been pretty crazy so far, and on my first wedding anniversary I told my husband that I was going to stop persuing cooking, and get more involved in the fitness industry. Being the wonderful husband that he is, he only looked at me like I was crazy for about 10 seconds, and then said, "If that is what will make you happy." I feel sorry for my husband sometimes because he is always dealing with me changing my mind every 5 minutes, LOL.
Anyway, I got my personnal trainers certification, and began training clients at a local gym. I found that I couldn't get away from my love of food though and, eventually after so much talk about food and healthy living with my clients, I started cooking healthy meals for a few of my clients. At the moment I have a lot of off and on training clients and 13 regular clients; 4 of which I cook for, and life seems pretty great.
