My daughter's very first favorite book was "Busy Bee Buzz." We read it so many times that I still have it memorized...

"Follow me," says Bumble Bee. Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!
"Hello birds, high in the sky," says Bumble Bee, "come on, let's fly!"
"Hello rabbits, hop this way," says Bumble Bee, "come on, let's play!"
... and so on.


I would love to find another copy of this book as ours has so much wear and tear. I will never get rid of our much-loved first copy, though!

Favorite Foods:

Favorite foods? That is so hard! First, I would have to say really good thin crust pizza. Must have pepperoni and onions, other toppings are optional. There is a local family-owned Greek restaurant that has the BEST roasted garlic hummus. I think I could eat it every single day.

Comfort foods are ones that typically remind me of my grandmother. Fried potatoes, potato cakes, fried chicken livers, roast beef & noodles, combination salad, persimmon pudding... I could go on forever.

I readily admit that I have an insatiable sweet tooth and a fondness for junk food. I am not ashamed! I cook with "cream of crap" soups and don't pass up a convenience food that is truly a convenience - IF it tastes good. Prego? I'm talking to you, baby!


The list of foods I don't like is much shorter!

Mustard (it smells awful and tastes just as bad!)
Potato salad (it's a texture thing)
Sweet potatoes (especially with marshmallows on top - what IS that?)
