I volunteer at the thrift store in our town, which benefits the nursing home. I am slowly getting back into painting and sculpture after many years as a graphic artist. I have a great husband/best friend and we have 3 wonderful grown kids, and Duchess, a golden retriever/chow/bundle of love. We have a big garden this year, so that's keeping us busy too.

I was thrilled to find this site with recipes, gardening, crafts...all my favorites! I am becoming a better cook thanks to all the recipes here. We're trying to eat healthy foods that will use up our garden produce!
