I am a registered dental hygienist and breast cancer survivor. I love to make healthy tasty recipes. I am so glad that I found this web site! Even before I signed up to be a member, I had found some really great, really healthy delicious recipes!

Love my husband and my Yorkshire terrier! Love to be a "homebody" just hanging out with them on the weekends. Love to cook, eat, work out (so I can eat!!!), and read. Love recipes that can be made in a crockpot!

Celebrate life in all that you do each day! Cooking (and eating!) are great ways to celebrate the art of living!

Eat, drink, and be merry! Just throw some exercise into your formula for living and everything will be great! Life is all about living!

Favorite Foods:

Green leafy vegetables...love recipes that can make them taste so good that anyone and everyone will enjoy eating them! I am constantly in search of recipes that include kale, spinach, or escarole. These foods are very rich in antioxidants. I believe they are a great defense against cancer.

Lean meats and fish. Once again, I love recipes that make them taste extraordinary! Great sources of protein.

Desserts...love all desserts, but especially anything chocolate! Chocolate is good for the soul! All desserts are soothing in their nature. Eat, enjoy, and channel the energy into a wonderful form of exercise...walk, jog,... let's lift some weights!!!

Love wine...to drink and in recipes! A little merlot makes a roast taste phenomenal when cooked in a crock pot! Add a little chardonnay or pinot grigio to stuffed chicken breasts...OOO LA LA!!! Don't forget to pour yourself a glass while you are slaving over that hot stove!
