I love hot and spicy, but traditional midwestern cuisine never goes wrong either. I tend to favor fruits and veggies over large hunks of meat, but I love a good steak every now and again. I really like to experience new flavors and textures, and I definately try to eat "globally", while trying to purchase locally. Fortunately for me, I live in a city where there is lots of open space for people to grow veggies in. There is a very agriculturally active Asian community here, and so we have lots of great Asian produce (Bok Choy, Daikon, etc...) in our farmers market.
