I am a 67 year old man who survived Lung Cancer 6 years ago. My wife of 46 years passed away in Jan of 2006. She lost her long battle with metastatized breast Cancer, since 2004 and had other non cancer related problems. I have been cooking, off and on, since I could see the stovetop. Nothing fancy normally, just plain food. Our youngest son and his family live next door, across a field. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen with my 6 and 11 year old DGDs from next door, and the other Grandchildren, when they come visit. Recently, I have begun walking to strengthen my lungs. I have also started trying to eat healthier.
I don't have any favorite foods. I am an adventurous eater, and ocassionaly, I will want something I have never had, before, and make it. I have never cared to eat out. I am more comfy at home.
