about me

I'm a middle-aged SAHM homeschooling my now-teenaged son. My English grandmother taught me how to bake and garden when I was a child, but I didn't really get interested in other types of cooking until I got married. My late father-in-law was a great cook, and he taught my husband, who taught me. Hubby is still a better cook than I am (but don't tell him I said so!).
I enjoy almost all types of music, and one of my favorite activities is to put on some tunes while my husband and I cook something wonderful together. I also love to grow the things we eat.
I hope everyone who reviews my recipes will do so honestly, even if you don't like them.
