about me

I am a public health nurse in a small city, about 20 minutes out of the large city that I live in.I work half-time and I do lots of things with my husband and our 2 children, (born 1998 and 2000)I have lots and lots of cookbooks, but I think the one that should be given to everyone as they move out on their own is 'The Joy of Cooking'. I think it has so much information on the basics of cooking, I even still look things up after many years of cooking. My kids are my passion- I waited a long time for them. I hate people driving and yakking away on cell phones- I think it is totally unsafe- also people that don't use proper safety seats for their children in their vehicles. I couldn't stand it if my child was injured because I did'nt have them buckled in safely.

Favorite Foods:

I love to bake, but along with my sewing,over the past few years, have not had time to do much. I really like bundt cakes as I like bringing food to work and they are easy, delicious and attractive. Don't have one special dish that I'm known for, but I am a good cook when I have the time and energy to do it.
