I love to cook, but have gotten out of the habit of making elegant meals. 3 kids will do that to you-it seems all they want is hot dogs and boxed mac and cheese!

I prefer vegetarian dishes, but since I live in a small community it's often difficult to find good substitutes or the right ingredients. I also end up making a separate meal for my family. Again, 3 kids who only want hot dogs.

My dream kitchen would be a fully stocked, commercial kitchen where I could experiment to my hearts content without interruption, and the grocery fairies would replenish my supplies at night while I'm sleeping.
