about me

I'm the mother of 4 children, who lost my husband to a brain hemorrhage in 1972. I have driven truck ( big rigs ) for the last 31 years and am now retired,
I live with one of my Daughters ( Danielle). we also have Tom staying with us as he has Just had his surgery on his back done.( Thank you for the prayers on his behalf!) My youngest( Dale ) Daughter owns and operates her own business( Day care) as does Danielle.(Computer consultant )
Danielle spent Last Christmas in the ICU of our local hospital, with arrhythmia She scared the life right out of me! Heart beating at 168 beats a minute!
Danielle is back at work now, she is a Software consultant and is working on a huge program that runs Optical offices.
Me---- I like to cook and do quite a bit of it at the local mission for the homeless. In the spring - I drown a lot of worms, but the fish last year were conspicuous by their absence ( not good ) better luck in 2010 ( hum.... said that last year it seems to me)
Also love to just get in the van and "GO" ---------anywhere .

Favorite Foods:

Almost all foods. With the exception of parsnip, canned peas ( yuk - to both of them! )
I love all fruit and fresh veggies and grow much of my food for the family myself.( Last year for that one.. I quit!!) Also big into pork, chicken, sea food and roast beef with all the trimmings! And lo, though I hate to admit it... I have a sweet tooth as well.
