about me

I live in the country, in my opinion it's the only place to live, with my husband, 1 horse, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. My passions are my husband, our 4 grandchildren (so far), and trying new recipes. If we had a month of vacation time we would drive all over the west. Since the printing plant where we worked closed, we're pretty much at loose ends. I have taken up quilting, and have made, so far, 6 queen size, 1 crib size (for St.Jude's Hospital) and 4 twin size quilts. So far I've not been brave enough to do the actual quilting, but I do piece them all myself. My husband just "leaves me to it" and works around the place.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite dish to prepare is chicken on the grill with a can of beer stuck up inside it. Very moist.
