I am married with 2 grown sons, and I work as a proofreader. My Italian husband and mother-in-law love it when we try recipes from the 'Zaar, and it's fun for me just to browse and look for typos--I can't help it. My other hobbies are miniature needlework, dollhouses, reading, houseplants and eBay. Since I joined Recipezaar I am cooking more (and better) than ever before. Thanks for a wonderful site!
Since you ask, my pet peeve is inexcusable spelling. Some of the postings on eBay are unbelievable--swade coat, bob wire, Pillsbury doe boy.

Favorite Foods:

My favorite foods are Chicken Marsala, shrimp, dumplings, bread pudding, popovers (anything with dough) and dark chocolate. I am known for Champagne Mustard, One-Pot Chicken Tetrazzini, and German Oven Pancake; my husband Rich is loved for his fabulous Sicilian steak and spaghetti sauce. We enjoy grilled vegetables and eat lots of chicken.

We like the Pasta House Company here in St. Louis and of course Lombardo's.
