Maple Walnut Granola

Recipe #397150 | 1½ hours | 30 min prep | add private note

By: Sarah Abbott
Oct 30, 2009

Crunchy granola to enjoy with milk, yogurt or ice cream

SERVES 13 , 3/4 cup (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Chop walnuts. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl with wooden spoon. Add oil, syrup and maple flavoring. Mix together thoroughly using the back of a spoon. Distribute the mixture evenly onto 3 cookie sheets. Place in the oven and bake or 45-60 minutes stirring every 15 minutes. I often stir mine only once so I get big chunks in my granola. Once you take the granola out of the oven, cool completely before eating or storing in an airtight container.
