Magic Bar Gift Basket

Every holiday season, I like to make up food gifts for a few of my favorite neighbors and friends. I like this one because it allows people to make the treat later...after they've already digested all of those christmas cookies and are ready for more in January. Another great part of it is that you can give it with a pretty bowl, spoon, or pan as a thoughtful and personal gift.

SERVES 16 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Place graham cracker crumbs in a small pretty container, like a jar.
  2. 2
Mix together chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans, and coconut flakes in a separate pretty container or jar.
  3. 3
Place the jars, a stick of butter, and can of milk in a small basket, mixing bowl, or gift bag. Include directions:.
  4. 4
First sprinkle graham cracker crumbs in the bottom of a 13x9 casserole pan.
  5. 5
Second, melt butter and drizzle over the crumbs.
  6. 6
Third, evenly distribute the chip/nut/coconut mixture.
  7. 7
Fourth, pour the milk on top.
  8. 8
Fifth, bake in 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
  9. 9
Decorate the gift in anyway you desire and give to your favorite friend, relative, or neighbor.
