Low Fat Low Sugar Nestle Condensed Milk

Cond. milk is asked for in so many recipes but because of the high calorie, sugar and fat I don't use it, I use my own, you can use the original recipe or use the low sugar one using splenda or Stevia. This is my 1st recipe to post I hope you like it, it has helped me with my diet.

SERVES 4 , 4 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar (or stevia)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

    - Microwave milk and water 1 minute until steaming.
  2. 2
    - stir in sugar and vanilla.
  3. 3
    If you are going to use stevia instead of sugar :.

    - In a bawl put skimmed powdered milk
  5. 5
    - Add water gradually and beat until it reaches condensed milk thickness.
  6. 6
    - Microwave 1 minute.
  7. 7
    - Add stevia and adjust to taste.
