A tasty, yet lower calorie version of my favorite. Thank you Melba Cook!

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

    Cream margarine and sugar together.
  3. 3
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  4. 4
    Sift dry ingredients together.
  5. 5
    Add bananas and dry ingredients alternately into egg mixture.
  6. 6
    Stir in chopped nuts.
  7. 7
    Pour into greased or lined loaf pans.
  8. 8
    Bake 20-30 minutes in small pans, 40-60 minutes in large pan until knife comes out clean.
