Lavender Lemonade

From Purple Haze Farm

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 quart lemonade
  • 1 tablespoon dried lavender
  • 1 cup boiling water

Directions

  1. 1
    Pour boiling water over lavender, steep 20 minutes.
  2. 2
    Strain and add to lemonade.
  3. 3
    Serve chilled.
  4. 4
    Garnish with lemon slices and lavender.

Wow, this is really great! I took it to a cookout on a 90 degree day, and lots of folks put down their adult beverages to get their hands on this! I accidentally let the lavendar steep too long, so I only used half the amount (1 c total for a doubled recipe). It came out perfect--present but not overpowering. Thanks so much for a keeper! Made for Healthy Choices ABC.

    Hi Charlotte Great Lemonade I too have the recipe from Purple Haze Farm and was going to post. I make my own lemonade because we have an overabudance of lemons. This is delightful and refreshing. Thanks for Posting Judy in WA (now CA)
