Jam Tart

this is a pastry tart my mom always makes. you can use any kind of jam/jelly for the filling. I like making my own peach butter and using that. ** the dough can be tough to handle, so I like using the cookie press/gun

SERVES 4 -6 , 20 -30 tarts (change servings and units)

    Sift both flour into a large bowl. add salt.
  2. 2
    add butter into flour and blend until texture looks like fine bread crumbs.
  3. 3
    add egg yoke and water and knead in lightly.
  4. 4
    let rest in refrigerator. roll out dough on a lightly floured surface using rolling pin. dough needs to be 1/2 thick.

    preheat oven to 350.
  6. 6
    cut out circles with cookie cutter. transfer to baking pan.
  7. 7
    spoon out jam/jelly to the middle of each dough circle.
  8. 8
    place in oven for 10-15 minnutes.

    take out and let cool.

    Eat!
