Hot Dog Enchiladas

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP It doesn't get easier cheaper or better--chili cheese hot dog enchiladas.

SERVES 5 -7 , 10 enchiladas (change servings and units)

    Grill hot dogs.
  2. 2
    Combine picante sauce and chili.
  3. 3
    Heat tortillas in microwave or in a skillet.
  4. 4
    Place cheese slices in tortillas.
  5. 5
    Place hot dogs in middle of tortillas and roll tortilla so hot dog and cheese is enclosed.

    Preset oven for 350°F.
  7. 7
    Pour half picante chili mixture in casserole dish.
  8. 8
    Place hot dogs wrapped in tortillas into the casserole.
  9. 9
    Top with remaining picante chili mixture.
  10. 10
    Cook in oven for 20 minutes.

    Take out of oven and top with chese chopped onion and green chiles.
  12. 12
    Place back in oven until cheese has melted.
  13. 13
    Take out cool and enjoy.

I really enjoyed these!! Kind of a "glorified Pigs n Blankets". Very tasty! I used all shredded cheddar/jack cheese (instead of sliced cheese) and left out the onions. Also used homemade flour tortillas - as I had just made a bunch. A keeper! Thanks!
