Hot Chocolate Bundt

Recipe #379445 | 50 min | 15 min prep | add private note

I have seen many recipes using Rhodes frozen rolls, but never this one. It is perfect for chocolate lovers. I haven't made it yet--I am waiting for company so I don't eat the whole pan. I found this recipe in a church cookbook of my moms. Prep time does not include rising time. The recipe calls for Stephen's brand of hot cocoa mix, found at WalMart.

SERVES 12 -15 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 24 Rhodes frozen rolls, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot cocoa mix
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 2/3 cup toffee pieces
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Directions

  1. 1
Cut rolls in half. Wrap each half around 1 teaspoon chocolate chips and completely enclose.
  2. 2
Dip each roll in cocoa mixture until well coated.
  3. 3
Place in a large Bundt pan, sprayed with non-stick cooking spray, alternating rows of rolls with pecans and toffee bits.
  4. 4
Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and cocoa mix.
  5. 5
Combine butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan and cook, stirring constantly until completely combined. Pour over rolls.
  6. 6
Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until almost to the top of the pan.
  7. 7
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Cover with foil the last 10 minutes of baking.
  8. 8
    Invert immediately onto serving platter.
  9. 9
You can also use white chocolate chips and white chocolate cocoa mix.
