Fresh fruit and cheese make a sweet finale to an Italian meal, but you also might enjoy a honey tortoni frozen in paper cups or layered in parfait glass. This is a non-traditional version. Easy to make and easier to eat.

SERVES 12 (change servings and units)

Directions

    Combine bread crumbs, coconut and almonds in a 9 x 13" pan and toast at 450F until golden, taking care not to scorch.

    Stir in butter and sugar; chill.
  3. 3
    Blend Cool Whip and honey; add crumb mixture and stir until just blended.
  4. 4
    Spoon into paper or foil baking cups and freeze until firm or overnight.
  5. 5
    For parfait version, alternate layers of crumb mixture and whipped topping; freeze.
