Nothing better than fresh hummus with warm pita.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

    Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until well combined and smooth - about 45 seconds.

    Place in a resealable container and refrigerate until cold. Hummus is good for 2-3 days.

Wonderful recipe! I love the tang of the lemon juice and the zip of the cayenne. Wonderful snack and healthy too!

    This is a wonderful hummus recipe and takes to some additions without any problems. I added a bit more olive oil, 1 tsp Chalupa hot sauce, a bit more salt and generous grinding of black pepper and 1/2 tsp cumin to the basic recipe. Drizzled some more olive oil on surface before serving. Delicious eating! Thank you mewack for posting this recipe.
