Heavenly Fried Pies

Warm delicious flakey fried pie crust and your choice of filling

SERVES 10 , 10 pies (change servings and units)

Directions

    Add flour, salt and powdered sugar into bowl.

    Cut in shortening until the mixture is incorporated well.
  3. 3
    Add baking soda to buttermilk.
  4. 4
    Add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened.
  5. 5
    Roll dough into a ball and chill for 25 minutes.
  6. 6
    Roll out onto floured surface and cut into 6" circles.

    Fill with your favorite pie filling.

    Fry until golden brown and delicious.
