Hearty Bean Stew

A mix of black, kidney, and garbanzo beans make this a hearty stew with beautiful fresh vegetables which add a nice crunchy texture.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Saute onion & garlic in oil until tender.

    Add tomatos, carrots, celery, broth & Worcestershire.

    Bring to a boil.

    Reduce heat- cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

    Stir in the beans, tomato paste, chili powder, and pepper.

    Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occassionally.

    Serve with warm corn bread.
