By: Nadia Melkowits
Nov 3, 2009

Growing up in North Africa made me appreciate so much more the Mediterranean cuisine. Not only delicious but also very healthy these dishes are moth full of flavor, Dips like this are most often served with rustic bread, brushed with olive oil and slightly toasted or soft pita bread wedges.

SERVES 6 , 2 tbsp (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    1. Crumble the feta into the bowl of a food processor or blender. If the cheese is firm, cut it into cubes about one inch in size.
  2. 2
    2. Add the remaining ingredients.
  3. 3
    3. Use the pulse or on-off switch on the appliance to chop everything into fine pieces, pulsing it about five times. Then blend everything until smooth.
  4. 4
    4. Pour into a bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to mingle. This is excellent made a day ahead, but should be consumed within three days to avoid spoilage.
