This drink has a wonderful taste. But it was not fun to eat the lime while drinking. So I suggest to strain it. From 501 Must-Drink Cocktails
SERVES 1
Ingredients
- 1/2 lime
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 ounce white rum
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ginger ale, to top up
- lime slice, to decorate
Directions

Cut the lime into 4 pieces and put in a food processor or blender with the pineapple juice, rum and sugar.2
Blend until smooth.3
I suggest to strain the drink into the hurricane glass (read description above). Pour into a hurricane glass or large goblet and top up with dry ginger ale. Decorate with a lime slice.
