Yummy looking salmon recipe from the Grey Poupon package. Although I haven't tried this recipe yet I imagine you could marinate the salmon in the syrup mixture rather than brush it on while grilling for a more intense flavor. Prep time includes chilling time.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine syrup, mustard, garlic, ginger, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. 2
Cover and refrigerate several hours to allow flavors to blend.
  3. 3
    Preheat grill to medium heat.
  4. 4
    Brush salmon evenly with oil.
  5. 5
Grill 4 minutes on each side or until salmon flakes easily with fork brushing frequently with the syrup mixture.

I'm sorry but I had to bake the salmon in the oven cause DH didn't want to use the barbecue cause he put many things in front of it. I baked it at 400 F about 10-12 minutes. It's very good. I omitted the cayenne pepper because of my son. Thanks Kelly Made for Holiday tag

This is a very easy and yummy recipe. I liked the taste of the syrup and mustard mixture. I cut the recipe in half and used fresh ginger. Served it with rice pilaf and a nice salad. I cooked mine about 5 minutes on each side only because we enjoy our salmon more on the firm side. Thanks for posting. Made for TYM tag game.

One word...amazing. I used fresh grated ginger. At these cooking times it was definitely medium rare, which I like for salmon.
