Based on a recipe from Esther Blum's book, Eat, Drink, and Be Gorgeous, a nutritionist's guide to living well while living it up. She says, "While there may not be much nutritional value in this drink, Lady Jane is lower in sugar than most other liqueurs. Think of it as a celebration of your gorgeous self. You are so pretty in pink!"

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

3 ounces Lady Jane Pink Lemonade Liqueur
1 ounce Stolichnaya peach vodka
lemon peel, twist for garnish
pink sugar (optional)

Directions

Chill a martini glass in freezer or refrigerator until it looks frosty.

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.

Pour the Lady Jane Pink Lemonade and peach vodka into the shaker.

Shake vigorously for 20 seconds; this will enable tiny ice crystals to form in the vodka.

Pour into chilled martini glass and garnish with a lemon peel twist.

For an extra sparkly touch, rub the rim of the glass with lemon juice and dip into pink sugar before pouring in the liquids.
