Fruity Green Tea Toddy

Ingredients

• 2 green tea bags
• 1 cup orange juice
• 1 cup natural pear juice or pear nectar
• 1 cup pineapple juice
• 4 orange slices, halved
• 4 lemon slices, halved
• 2 cups water, boiled and cooled to 175
• 3 tablespoons caramel syrup
• lemon slice, cut in quarters

Directions

   Add tea bags to prewarmed teapot; set aside.

   Add orange juice, pear juice, and pineapple juice to a saucepan; add in the fruit slices.

   Carefully bring to a simmer over low heat.

   Add water to the teapot and steep for 2 minutes.

   Strain the brewed tea into the juice mixture and bring the heat back to a simmer.

   Add in the caramel syrup; mix well; discard the fruit slices.

   Ladle the hot tea into teacups or mugs; garnish with 2 pieces of lemon; serve.
