A recipe adapted from my grade 8 home ec. class some 30 years ago!! Quite economical and a great and different way to use weiners.

SERVES 6 -8 , 1 dutch oven-full (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Fry weiners in bottom of dutch oven. Once done, remove and set aside. Cook peppers in small amt. of olive oil in dutch oven. Add tomatoes, potatoes and spices. Let simmer on med. low 'til potatoes are soft, stirring occasionally. Add cooked sliced weiners at this time and continue to cook on low for 15 minutes.
