Easy Strawberries & Cream Hot Tea

Recipe #380820 | 10 min | 10 min prep | add private note

This is a very easy way to enjoy hot African Rooibos Red Tea. I call it "Strawberries & Cream" because the flavor and aroma of this tea reminds me of strawberries. It is simply hot African Rooibos Red Tea with French vanilla coffee creamer powder added. Deliciously simple!

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 6-8 ounces water, boiling
  • 1 tea bag, African Rooibos Red Tea (I use Twinings brand)
  • 1 tablespoon coffee creamer, French vanilla flavored (I use Nestle Coffee Mate Fat Free French Vanilla)

Directions

  1. 1
In a tea kettle, bring water to a boil.
  2. 2
Meanwhile, place tea bag in a teacup.
  3. 3
When water is boiling hot, pour desired amount over tea bag and steep for 8-10 minutes or until desired color/flavor is reached.
  4. 4
Carefully remove tea bag and stir in creamer.
