Dead Sea Bath Salts

Recipe #363943 | 5 min | 5 min prep | add private note

I got this recipe off of Welltellme.com. I adjusted it by adding the dried lavendar. If you use the lavendar, just be warned that it will leave a mess in your tub, but is easy to rinse down the drain. Dead sea salt is very therapeutic for the body. Do not rinse off.

2 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dead sea salt or regular sea salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, warmed to liquid
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil (optional)
  • 10-12 drops lavender oil (essential oils)

Directions

  1. 1
Mix the sea salt, baking soda and dried lavender (if using) together in a small bowl.
  2. 2
In another small bowl, mix the coconut oil, grape seed oil and essential oil.
  3. 3
Pour the oils into the salts and mix well.
  4. 4
Keep in a sealed glass jar in your bathroom and use 2 T in the bath, under warm running water.
