Curried Rice

The curry adds a great color and a wonderful flavor to the rice. Serve with any grilled or roasted meats.

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Heat butter in a saucepan. Add the onion and garlic. Cook, stirring, until soft. Add the remaining ingredients, except the chicken broth, stirring to coat grains.

    Add the chicken broth. Cover. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cook 15 to 20 minutes, until rice is tender. Remove the bay leaf and serve.
