Curried Lamb

Recipe #398277 | 50 min | 10 min prep | add private note

I'm always looking for new ways to cook lamb. This looks like a good one. I don't know where I got this so if it's your recipe...all the credit goes to you!

SERVES 5 , 1 curried lamb (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Coat meat with flour. Saute garlic and onion in a small amount of margarine. Heat more margarine in a heavy skillet and brown meat on all sides. Transfer to large pot. Add salt, pepper and curry powder. Add 1 cup hot water and bring to a boil. Add more water if necessary to cover meat. Cover, and simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes. Check seasonings. It has to be quite strong. Serve with brown rice and steamed carrots.
