Cold appetitizer, zesty and crunchy. Recipe came from a dear English friend who brought it to potlucks.

36 sandwiches (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Cream Philadelphia cream cheese with package of Good Season's Italian dressing.
  2. 2
    Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  3. 3
    Cut cucumber into very thin slides.
  4. 4
    Spread onto cocktail bread.
  5. 5
    Place cucumber slices on top, and garnish with spice of choice.
  6. 6
    Refrigerate on wax paper to separate.
  7. 7
    Nice presentation circles on squares.

Carolanne, I made these to take to my ladies church luncheon,and they were a big hit,not one was left,I loved them too.I don't care for lunch meat,but love veggie sandwiches,like radish sandwiches,and onion,and cucumbers.also cold spaghetti sandwiches (Iknow,Weird), but anyway,thank you for the great recipe.     this recipe didn't do it for me. I like cucumbers alot, but this combo wasn't to my taste. The italian seasoning mixed with the cream cheese just didn't taste good.

    These are easy, attractive, and everyone seems to like them. I used the zesty Italian Good Seasons and everyone liked it. They were on the first plate to empty at the party today.

    I scaled this recipe down and made a single sandwich just for me.. then I had to make another one. They are so good! I used the ranch seasoning instead of the italian because I like ranch a lot more and it was suggested in a similar recipe. I'm a vegetarian so I am always looking for good vegetarian sandwiches. I have eaten probably 4 of these in the past 3 days and I definetely recommend this sandwich.
