my mom loves this dish, said her mom made it the same way

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

    put sliced cucumbers in colander.

    add salt, and press with plate covered by a heavy can, for 30 minutes.

    rinse, and in bowl add remaining ingredients.

    chill up to several days, and serve.

Simple and delicious! I put in the red onions even though I don't like raw ones. I'm glad I did, it wouldn't have been the same!

    This turned out great even tho I messed it up and put 1 1/2 tsp. to much sugar in it! Thanks!

    My mother and grandmother made this and it's always been a family favorite. We add a lot of dill!

    Exactly what I was looking for! I used splenda instead of sugar and omitted the dill. Very yummy! Thanks for a great recipe!
