Crock Pot Sour Cream Salsa Chicken

Easy dinner recipe

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

    Spray the crockpot with cooking spray. Add the chicken breasts. Sprinkle withTaco Seasoning. Top with salsa.

    Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
  3. 3
    When ready to serve, remove the chicken from the pot.
  4. 4
    Place about 2 T cornstarch in a small amount of water. Stir well. Stir the cornstarch mixture into salsa sauce.

    Stir in 1/4 cup of sour cream. Serve.

Tasted really good, but even with the cornstarch and sour cream, it turned out more of a soupy mixture rather than the sauce I was hoping for. I'll make it again, for sure, but will have to do some tweaking to make the sauce thicker

    I will be making this one again! It was so easy to make. Five hours on low in my crockpot was a little long so next time I'll set it for 4 hours. The family starting eating this before I had the Fat Free sour cream mixed in and they loved it that way. I just added a spoonful of sour cream to mine so I could try it. I'd like it either way. Made for New Kids On The Block 2009 game
