We had this dessert at a 4-H Meeting. Its very tasty with cream cheese in the middle and a delicious crusting on the top and the bottom. The best thing about this recipe is that its easy and tasy! My friend Traci shared this recipe with us--Thanks Traci!

32 pcs (change servings and units)

Ingredients

2 boxes cream cheese, 8 oz ea
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 (8 ounce) cans crescent rolls
1 cup sugar
1 egg, separated

topping

1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Layer one can crescent rolls on bottom of 9x13 pan. (pinch ends together so it becomes one layer with no separation). beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla , and egg yolk. spread cream cheese mixture over rolls. layer the second can of crescent rolls (do the same as the first can). make topping mix by combining sugar, cinnamon and walnuts. brush top layer of rolls with egg white and sprinkle with topping mix.

bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
