Honey has many wonderful benefits. Besides a sweet treat it is beneficial for skin, and health treating many conditions. It `s a good source of trace enzymes, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, & antioxidants. Helps in the prevention of cancer as well as heart disease. One of the most important properties seems to be its antibiotic action. Honey has been shown to be superior to certain conventional antibiotics in treating some infections. Honey has a low calorie content. When it is compared with the same amount of sugar, it gives 40% less calories to the body. Although it gives great energy to the body, it does not add weight. When taken with water, honey diffuses into the bloodstream in 7 minutes. Its free sugar molecules make the brain function better since the brain is the largest consumer of sugar. Honey provides an important part of the energy needed by the body for blood formation. Helping in cleansing the blood. It has some positive effects in regulating and facilitating blood circulation. It also functions as a protection against capillary problems. British researchers have discovered that honey slows the oxidation of 'bad' IDL cholesterol, which is responsible for causing arteriosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. So Honey can fight against Cholesterol. And the darker the honey, the better also stronger tasting. The lighter color the milder taste. There are over 300 kinds of honey in the US. "Bee Pollen contains all the ingredients necessary for a balanced diet. Twenty-two nutrients required by the human body are found in this "perfect" food. Doctors in Europe often prescribe Bee Pollen as a food supplement to increase energy and vitality. Bee Pollen, together with a healthy diet, is considered a valuable weight loss food.
