Coffee Milkshakes

In Rhode Island, you will see containers of coffee milk alongside containers of chocolate and white milk. Coffee-flavored syrup is used to flavor milk, milkshakes, and ice cream. I found this recipe in The United States Cookbook. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting this for safe keeping.
SERVES 4
Ingredients
- 1 cup brewed coffee or instant coffee, cooled
- 1 cup 2% low-fat milk
- 1 tablespoon light vanilla syrup
- 3 scoops coffee ice cream
- 4 ice cubes
Directions

Put the coffee, milk, vanilla syrup, and ice cream in the blender. Mix well.2
Add the ice cubes. Blend until the mixture is smooth.3
Pour into 4 tall glasses.
