Coffee Milkshakes

In Rhode Island, you will see containers of coffee milk alongside containers of chocolate and white milk. Coffee-flavored syrup is used to flavor milk, milkshakes, and ice cream. I found this recipe in The United States Cookbook. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting this for safe keeping.

    Put the coffee, milk, vanilla syrup, and ice cream in the blender. Mix well.

    Add the ice cubes. Blend until the mixture is smooth.

    Pour into 4 tall glasses.
