Hummus is wonderful spread on crackers or chunks of warm bread, or scooped up with toasted pita bread.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Place the garlic, chili peppers and cilantro in a food processor and whizz up until finely chopped. Add the chickpeas and whizz again until well blended.

    With the motor running, squeeze in the lime juice and drizzle in the olive oil to make a coarse paste.

    Season well to taste and spoon into a serving bowl.
