Chicken Cup-A-Soup

Recipe #376818 | 10 min | 5 min prep | add private note

By: Michelle from Central Time
Jun 11, 2009

This is something I drink when I'm sick, inspired by http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/cupofsoup.htm which also lists a number of other variants. I've been able to find lots of onion cup-a-soup versions on the Zaar, but not a chicken broth type of one. This would also be handy to keep at many workplaces for when you need a little pick me up.

SERVES 1 , 1 cup soup (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Boil water in teakettle or or saucepan, including extra water for evaporation if needed, or heat in mug or bowl.
  2. 2
Stir remaining ingredients into near-boiling water (90 Celsius or so) until dissolved.
