Chicken Breasts Southwestern

Green chilies and salsa add south of the border flavor to grilled chicken breasts. Land-o-Lakes Cookbook.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

    in 9" square baking pan stir together all marinade ingredients.
  2. 2
    add chicken breasts, marinate turning oncein refrigerator at least 45 minutes.
  3. 3
    meanwhile, prepare grill placing coals to one side, heat until coals are ash white.
  4. 4
    make aluminum foil drip pan, place oppisite coals.
  5. 5
    remove chicken from marinade, drain.
  6. 6
    grill chicken 7 minutes, turn, continue grilling until fork tender.
  7. 7
    top each chicken breast with 2 slices of cheese. continue grilling until cheese begins to melt.

    serve with salsa on top of chicken pieces.
