Cherry Lemonade

SERVES 8
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups lemon juice (bottled or fresh)
- 3/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 4 ounces maraschino cherry juice, approximately (I use the juice from a 10 oz. bottle of cherries)
- 4-5 cups water
- lemon, to garnish
- maraschino cherry, to garnish
Directions

Combine lemon juice and sugar in a large pitcher. Add cherry juice and water, stirring briskly.2
Serve over crushed ice with lemon slices and cherries for garnish.

I love lemonades. This was wonderful. Sweet cherries, tart lemons, it couldn't be any better. Thanks so much for sharing this quick and easy to make treat. I'll be making this often, it was refreshing as well as tasty, just perfect for sitting by the pool. Made for Summer 09 - Comfort Cafe.

We love lemonade and maraschino cherries so this was a winner for us. I did use bottled lemon juice and a 10 ounce jar of maraschino cherries like Marg suggested. Pretty and great tasting drink for the summer! Thank you so much hon for posting this recipe. Made and reviewed for Comfort Cafe - Summer 2009.
