    In a mixing bowl cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.
  3. 3
    Add milk and vanilla; mixing well.
  4. 4
    Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda; add to creamed mixture.
  5. 5
    Stir in the chopped pecans, dates and cherries.
  6. 6
    Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

    Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in the crushed corn flakes.
  8. 8
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets, pressing a cherry half in the center of each.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 14 - 15 minutes oe until golden brown.

    Remove to wired rack to cool.
