Cheesy Beer Salsa Dip

Great twist on your usual queso dip! This recipe came from the December/January 1996 issue of Country America magazine. Serve with tortilla chips or corn chips.

SERVES 6 -8 , 3 1/2 cups (change servings and units)

    Combine salsa, American cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and cream cheese in a medium pan.

    Cook and stir over low heat until all cheese are melted.

    Stir in beer and heat through. Serve warm (in a chafing dish or mini-crockpot) with chips.

The dip by itself is okay but with the mini chicken tacos it was excellent!Thanks for posting

    Yum, Yum, Yum....what a cheesy tasting dip this is. I followed your recipe as written and actually doubled the amounts as DH is HUNGRY. I also added in a bit of sliced up pepperoni and pre-cooked bacon. He likes his meat too Great tasting all around. The beer adds just the right amount of zip!~ Made for Phototag.
